8 Years
Today, my obligations to the U.S. Navy for my 8 year enlistment are up! Hooray for me.
The Taxpayers are playing some houseparty tonight, as well as possibly Sunday too. Monday we will be on Aloud to be Loud with Terri on KPSU, AM college radio, Woohoo! Next weekend we are playing with The Ergs at the Tonic Lounge.
Work is nearly complete on our first album, Exhilarating News. It sounds pretty good, and I'll get it posted for download as soon as its done. We had to let our trumpet player go, so there 'prolly won't be any horn on this album. It was an unfortunate scene booting that kid from the band, but he was not the right temperment/personality type for us.

Were you really in the Navy, Nathan? How do you know that it wasn't a post-hypnotic suggestion by a GHB bearing butt-pirate nicknamed 'El Capitain?'
That said, I could be wrong; I'm still 'rusty' (snowed under?) from the combination of roofies and rescue fantasies that underly your etiology!
